DEAR OLD GIRL
Songs about the ladies, Adeline to Wendy . . .
XYZ didn't make it.
* Noteworthy is a music notation software
which is produced by Noteworthy Software Inc. in North Carolina. You can
use it any of a number of ways, and the information about it and the various
packages available can be found by looking either on this site at my music
page, or by going to the Noteworthy
Software page. Of the options available, this page uses the "plugin"
best . . . where you merely click on the song name in the right hand column,
and if you have the plugin downloaded to your computer and installed, then
your browser will take you to a page from which the song plays as it shows
you both the lyrics and the music; (you then use the 'back' button to return
to this page to play another song).
There is yet another option (isn't
there always?) of downloading the Noteworthy Player, a free midi and nwc
player, which can be used to play either a midi or the native .nwc file
created in the Noteworthy notation software. The difference between using
the Noteworthy and just listening to midis is of course the ability to
both see the words and watch the music as the song plays, in a sort of
bouncing ball without the ball . . . the musical notes light up as they
are played in the song . . . seriously. No, it's not video or sexy dancing,
but it is somewhat better than just listening and not knowing what the
words are or what is happening in the song . . . with the player, you can
download the actual .nwc extension file in this same directory on my web
site and play it yourself in the free Player. And if you don't want to
see the words or watch the music unfold, then be our guests and just listen
to the nice midi songs by selecting them from the left column.
